You are Unique
Why try to fit in when you were born to stand out

Your strength. Your story. Your hero. Be it.
“Unlock Your Strength: Be the Hero of Your Own Story”
When I meet someone for the first time, I can see the courage it took for them to reach out. I know how hard it is to take that step, especially when life feels overwhelming—when stress, self-doubt, or a sense of being stuck makes it hard to see the way forward.
I understand because I’ve been there too. I know how easy it is to believe that someone else holds the answers or that we’re waiting for something outside of us to change. But here’s what I’ve learned: every single one of us has strength within us. We all have a story worth telling, and the hero we’ve been searching for is already inside us, waiting to be discovered.
When clients come to me, they often feel unsure or afraid of being judged. I want you to know that in my space, there’s no judgment—only empathy and a genuine commitment to help. My role isn’t to “fix” you because you’re not broken. It’s to help you uncover your strength, embrace your story, and recognise that you are the hero of your own life.
Your strength is what will carry you through life’s challenges, even when it feels like it’s not there. Your story is unique, and you have the power to rewrite it—to reclaim the narrative and make it one of growth and empowerment. And your hero? That’s you. You are capable of overcoming obstacles, of rising above struggles, and of creating the life you want.
I’ve seen incredible transformations when clients start to believe in themselves—to realise that they already have what it takes to thrive. They just needed the right guidance and space to see it clearly.
Your strength. Your story.
Your hero. Be it.

If you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed, I want you to know that you’re not alone. You have more resilience and courage than you might believe right now. Together, we can uncover the tools you already have to face life’s challenges and step into the role of the hero you were meant to be.
Are you ready to take that step? Let’s start this journey together. Reach out today, and let’s unlock the strength, story, and hero within you.

Are you struggling?
I can help you. You may have different issues which are causing you distress, confusion, pain and unhappiness. I believe that an honest conversation is of the upmost importance. By working collaboratively with you, we can ‘unravel’ your thoughts and feelings to make sense of what is going on for you. After all, you know yourself best of all. I would like to walk along-side you as your ‘wing woman’ throughout your own therapeutic journey. Supporting you through the ups and downs by empowering you to realise that you are strong, unique and resilient. That you can indeed achieve your goals, find happiness, change and find a remedy to the pain and distress that you may be suffering.

Want to feel better?
I believe that every person is unique and that not all stand-alone therapies are appropriate for all clients. As an Integrative Counsellor, I will ‘blend’ or ‘integrate’ theories and techniques appropriate for your individual needs to be met. We are all unique in how we experience and perceive the world around us even if our stories are similar. I always say that “what one person can cope with another person may not be able to”
By working together to form a trusting and transparent therapeutic relationship, I can help you to make sense of things.
I can help
I help many of the following but this isn’t an exhaustive list:
Those who have suffered significant trauma, loss and bereavement due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. This includes Emergency Services front line staff who due to their experiences and what they have ‘seen’ during this time, may now have PTSD, depression, anxiety or other mental health issues.
Those people who have suffered a ‘loss’ of themselves or their identity. This may be due to ‘visible’ and ‘invisible’ differences such as changes to their body due to cancer scars, illness or injuries from combat or accidents. Or less ‘visible’ differences which effects how you view your World; being diagnosed with a long term medical condition, life changes, feeling anxious or depressed.
I have experience of working with clients who are survivors of child sexual abuse, sexual violence, rape and domestic abuse.
I have also worked with clients from LGBQT+ communities, those with Neuro Diverse needs and those with issues surrounding addiction. I am keen to expand my experience with these client groups further.
