Frequently Asked Questions

How can I help?
I will try and help you with whichever issues you choose to bring to me which we can discuss during our introductory chat.
When you feel you are ready to start to work with me, we can book your first session or, a block of sessions.
We can then work together to ease your pain, make you feel better and find your hero within!
If I feel that another Counsellor or Psychotherapist would be better able to meet your needs more efficiently then I will refer you (with your consent) or, find someone who may be a better fit for you to work with.
What should I expect when you contact me?
When you contact me through the website, I shall let you know that I have received your message. If you do not receive a response form me within 24 hours, please contact me directly via email:

Together, we can arrange a mutually convenient time for us to have an introductory chat. This will be a short chat and will enable both of us to see if we can work together.
During our introductory chat, I will ask you some general questions about your reasons for contacting me. You will also be able to ask me any questions you may have. I may also send you an intake form to fill in and complete for me.

Cost of sessions
Sessions are 50 minutes and are delivered via Zoom or telephone. Each session of 50 minutes costs £65.00 (this will depend upon therapy and will be outlined further in our working agreement. All payments should be made via bank transfer.
I am happy for clients to book a session for the same time and day each week, a block of sessions, or fortnightly/monthly sessions.
If you wish to have RTM then this will be carried out over a number of sessions usually lasting 1.5 hours each and the cost will be adjusted accordingly.
Our first session
This important initial session is about discussing and agreeing how we can work together to improve your situation. Why have you come to counselling, what your aims and goals are, how do you want me to help you? Ultimately is is for us both to have a firm understanding of your situation, to improve it and make you feel better.
It is also about understanding how we relate to each and can work together. I want you to feel safe, comfortable and able to talk to me in an open and honest way; “what you see is what you get with me!”
Our introductory session is all about ‘Finding out’. We will get the opportunity to meet each other and you will be able to ask me any questions you may have.
I may also need to complete other forms should you have a medical condition or additional needs, in order to keep you safe whilst we work together virtually.
This session will also give you the opportunity to decide if you would like to book additional sessions with me as your ‘wing woman’ moving forward.
Cost – £65
Time – 50 minutes
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I offer online or telephone counselling to suit your needs. I use Google Meet which is a secure platform and easy to use. Or, if you prefer, I am happy to use WhatsApp.
